I went on the EB website this morning and I was surprised to see that Rock Band for PS3 is out on the 7th of this month? Even stranger the 360 version isn't out until the 2nd of January. A big "HA!" if that's true, though it's prolly not. Can anyone confirm this?

Well, both editions have been out since November 20th.

Maybe the site is just saying when they expect to have them back in stock.

Hmm...possibly. I was thinking....hoping for Canadian release. XD Sooner the better!

I believe the Canadian release for both platforms is expected somewhere in the December 18-20 window.

I've seen the "taking pre-orders" again on the Gamestop page since release, but the page didn't say "special edition" on it, but was the boxed set. Not sure if Gamestop is trying to handle the idea of multiple shipments (they had a real problem with that during the Wii releases last year) or what.

Yeah, they call it "Rock Band bundle" now, instead of "Special Edition". I'm betting that's their next shipment for online orders, and to make it easier to handle they are just "re-releasing" it on their site every time they expect to get a shipment in.
