Hi,
Has anyone else had this issue? when playing the faster songs in Rb2 on drums, the game keeps taking away the x multiplier as if the notes have been missed (even though at the end of the song it displayed 100%!)
Ive tried changing the batteries, and the drumkit is working fine on GH:WT. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Rich

Your problem is with either crosstalk or double hits. Go into freestyle mode, and play each drum separately. If the drum sounds twice when you only strike it once, then you have double hitting. If another drum sounds at the same time, then you have crosstalk. Both problems are (usually) easily remedied by doing one or both of these:
1. screwdriver mod (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81358) (removing the pads and adjusting the sensitivity of them by adjusting the sensor mount tension)
2. using silencers (many users have experienced reductions in crosstalk and double hits when using silencers)

Hi,
have just tried it again in freestyle - Red+Yellow at the same time seem to be causing the issue - although the notes hit (and still produce 100% at the end) it also produces a noise in-game which sounds like the drumsticks are hitting each other.
We had to calibrate the drums in GHWT using the tuner provided on the website due to it not being very sensitive, im wondering if that tool could be used in RB2 using the drum tuner? has anyone tried such a thing? Ideally i dont want to take the top off and start fiddling with a screwdriver, as when playing the drums in GHWT they are perfect.

Wait. Are you using GHWT, RB1, or RB2 drums?

Oh, that makes it much easier. Just turn down the sensitivity for red and yellow a couple notches using the tuning kit.
