i looked through the forums as best as i could and the only thing i could find is the green pad going off randomly, which mine doesn't do. what mine does, is its EXTREMELY sensitive. ill barely tap it and it'll register a hit, this wouldn't be a problem, except every time i hot the blue pad, the green pad will register it as a hit. So, is there any way to fix this without voiding the warranty or RMAing the kit?
P.S. The green note only plays when i hit the blue not on the menus, it doesn't do it when im playing rock band. It also does it no matter what on guitar hero metallica even when im playing

I would recommend trying the screwdriver mod (LINK (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81358)). This mod (if done carefully) does not void your warranty.

The 2nd poster (shek) explained that the instructions and pictures only applied to SL drums. I would search around on scorehero as well as they have documented this better.

The link dovanon gave you is the technique I used on my first set. It requires a lot of patience, because you'll likely have the head off and on a number of times. But you can get it right.
To test the kit out, after adjustments, go into frestyle mode. Super easy to see when pads are triggered when they're not supposed to. Start off by hitting your blue pad to see if it'll cause the green to register, if it doesn't, then try the green pad to make sure it still registers.
If it's still pooched, repeat as necessary :)
