How long must you wait?

How long have you guy's waited for the arrival of your replacement. I've been waiting for almost two weeks and it is ridiculous.

I feel for you. When my guitar "broke" after two days I assessed in three minutes of deliberation that with so many people buying this game and having problems at initial release it was going to be a nightmare trying to RMA anything back. Besides, there was no guarantee that I wasn't going to get a similarly defective instrument in return.

I figured since it felt like a trivial problem (strum bar losing receptiveness) that I'd forego the warranty and repair it myself. Simple bending of the contacts fixed that problem.

I felt the spring break on my whammy bar three days later and tidied that up with a pen spring.

Now that there appears to be a new design in the offing for the guitar internals it might now be worth waiting for them. I figured I'd get more enjoyment out of playing now on a repaired guitar and shelling out a few dollars down the road for an improved model. I guess it all depends on how you justify the potential expense versus time without the equipment.
