So I read in my music history textbook that The Who's Tommy is Progressive Rock though my Dad says it is more Acid Rock. What do you think it is more of? Poll!

I am not familiar with Tommy or the genre of Acid rock, however, using the power of stupidity I still have voted.

The question is answered, I lose with the power of stupidity!
I honestly have no clue why I'm being so dramatic (acting sense not emotional sense) about this.
After thinking a little harder about what makes prog, prog and a quick trip to Wikipedia, I should have known this.

Yeah, but they could give me a better understanding than my assumptions. My default position for music is that I'm wrong and someone else knows better. That's simply because I'm too lazy to try to expand my tastes/knowledge.
To sum up, "I like what I like, I don't mind what I don't like and I'll try something if you ram it down my throat/release it for RB."
