We post weird dreams we have here!

Last night I had a dream that I went bowling and tried to pay with Canadian money(lolwut).

Lately (for like the past month) I've been having really messed up dreams. Basically they're all just variants of things that I could see myself doing in real life, or I'd like to do. They're incredibly vivid as they're happening, but I quickly forget the majority of the substance of them soon after waking. But throughout the day I'll get little flashes of them here and there, and I have to kinda clear my head and try to figure out what actually happened and what was a dream.

I don't have any specific examples at the moment, but if one hits me tonight, I'll try and post it tomorrow.

When I was a kid, I had a terrible dream:
It was midday, and around the time the ice cream truck would come around, so I was waiting outside with my mother. Then out of nowhere Chuckie pulls up in the ice cream truck, knife in hand and takes my mother hostage. I proceed to drop kick Chuckie and wrestle the knife away from him. He drives away and my mom is safe. I was five.

My weird dream
When i was a teen i kept having this weird dream in which i was in a fight, but no matter how fast i swung my fist it always seemed as thought i was moving slow motion. The strange thing was that my opponent would always move at regular speed, a couple years later I mentioned this dream to my family and found out my older cousin has had the same dream, which i guess means that the scenario might occur in other teens dreams as well. I think this might mean something.
My scary dream
Just months ago i had this strange dream where i opened my eyes and saw a blurry shadow of a person standing above me, but as it moved in near my face i backed away. As soon as i did the shadow slammed my bed and ran out my bedroom door, this freaked me out so i tried waking up but my arms and legs wouldn't move. I tried shouting out for help but all that came out was a gasp. When i finally did jerk out of my dream i was relieved, i felt as if i was a prisoner in my own body.

When I was little I would always have dreams about giant plants killing me. Then there was a period where I would always find a copy of FFVII in some strange location. I don't remember my dreams right now but I'll try tonight.

I've posted this one a long time ago:

I started out in an experiment where a machine would kill me, extract a part of my brain and try to develop a cure for some disease. I ended up dying and being sent to the afterlife where I checked in with Eiichiro Oda (auohor of One Piece) and proceeded to wander through many videogame-based dimensions until finally arriving at the inside of a sort of unfamiliar castle. There, I met Dumbledore who sent me back to earth a ghost. No one could see me, so I decided to test my powers in the ladies' locker room at my school. I found it weird when everyone started staring at me and making conversation with me, shocked at the fact that I had returned from the dead. I exited and tried consulting God for answers. He only responded to my pleas by saying that Powerslave is a great album and I was left to discover for myself that, to fuel my invisibility powers, I had to read the minds of others. I reunited with my family and, after the initial shock and happiness, I continued my family life, except I used my newfound powers to freak people out.

When I was a kid I used to have this recurring dream where I'd get chased by Christopher Lloyd (from back to the future) and everytime he caught up to me a huge gust of wind would blow me wicked high in the sky. Then I'd come down and the chase would go on... lmao it's messed up

Last night, I dreamed I went up to my room and fell asleep, then had a dream I was saving a girl form being hit by a bus in slow-mo, cheezy, Hollywood fashion. Then, I woke up. I was still on the couch with the T.V. on. I went up to bed, fell asleep, and finished the dream.

after watching an episode of duck tales where a goose turns things to gold after it pecks it, i had a dream i was in school with a chicken that would peck something and turn it into stone. it scared the crap outta me.

Have you guys ever heard of those dreams where part of your brain wakes up but the part that does the dreaming lags behind? So essentially you're fully awake and hallucinating?

I know that sounds kind of nuts but it's happened to me about 4 times in my life. I'd be happy to share if you guys are interested.

Does this involve that lock-up where you're only partially awake, so your body doesn't function, and the only sound you can make is a small whimper? 'Cause yeah, I've felt that.

Sleep Paralysis.

It starts like that with me, but eventually I get to a point where I can get up and move around....still hallucinating.

Scared the crap out of me the first couple of times, till I saw the doc about it and did some research.

There's the term. My friend told me about that. As for what you have, I can't say that's ever happened to me.

Once I knew what it was it was kinda fun actually. But it hasn't happened to me in a good 10-12 years. It mostly happened when I was in highschool and pulling all nighters, sleeping odd hours.

My stepdad had it far worse. He has epilepsy and once in a while, especially if he forgets to take his medication before bed, he'll wake up and be unable to do anything. It freaked me out once when I was a kid. He was napping on the couch and I woke him up to ask him if I could do something or another. Maybe eat some cookies or something stupid like that. He opened his eyes, but that's all he could do. He couldn't even close his eyes back. I asked him if he was okay after he was just staring at me and I remember screaming, running around saying he was sorta dead, as he was still breathing.

He was able to move again maybe 15 minutes later, after me and my brothers sat there crying and poking him and shaking him. That's when he made up an emergency number list and told us to use it if we get worried and that happened again. Pretty terrifying for a kid to see that. He wasn't scared himself, he just found it annoying that he couldn't move or reassure us that he'd be okay.

For some reason this paralyzing seizure things never seemed to scare him. I think they'd scare me if I was him.

Wow. That would be pretty scary as a kid yeah. Nobody in my family has had the same sleep disorders I have, so it was kinda hard to explain to my parents when I was younger. Of course my mother worries like nobodies business so I was whisked away to the doctors right away..lol

Nowadays I have alot of lucid dreams and occasionally the Sleep Paralysis but it only lasts a few seconds.

He gets it from his dad. His dad can call out for help while sleeping too. I still don't understand how they can sense someone near them when they're asleep. I think they're both from Nightmare on Elm Street 3.

Last night, I dreamed that I was playing Humans vs. Zombies. The strange thing was, me and the other players were in San Fierro (GTA: San Andreas). Still dreaming, I was checking my email and I got a message that the paper I'm working on had it's due date moved from tomorrow to Tuesday.

When I woke up, I checked my email to see if the due date really was moved. It wasn't.

I had a series of strange dreams last night. In the first one, I was in a huge overstock store like Costco. It was Black Friday and there was a huge amount of commotion. I was rummaging through deals on hair care items and threw a faulty container of conditioner randomly. The bottle hit someone over the head. That person thought they were being attacked, and the situation snowballed until there was a full-blown riot in which several people were killed. I was running out of the store and passed out in an alleyway. I "woke up" to a police chief pulling me away and saying "I know what you did." I looked at the officer, genuinely confused and she simply said "conditioner." I was so terrified that I recognized it was all a dream and woke myself up.

My second dream was pretty funny. I was in California, searching for a world-renowned record store. I thought I found the place, and, turns out, the entrance was a crappy house in Compton owned by Eddie Vedder and their sound engineer. I remember chilling out, talking with the engineer (who looked like Vinnie Paul) and having a pretty entertaining conversation; I don't remember what was said though. However, I remember Eddie Vedder walking by and I asked him for his autograph, but he was busy and refused. He had a Norwegian accent for some reason.

Anyway, I was led into the shop and there were shelves upon shelves of new and used records. Literally, the selection was mindblowing. I walked up to the "B" section and looked for Black Sabbath, but they only had Dio-era. But that's where the alphabet stopped. Everything after was "P," and the rest of the store was aisles upon aisles of Pearl Jam records. I looked at the sound engineer and he said "yeah, Eddie's got kind of an ego." It is blurry afterwards but I remember picking up Backspacer.

My dreams go on a cycle of strange to mundane. I hope I remember what happens tonight!

I had that stupid "teeth falling out" dream a few more times, moreso with my girlfriend on a family vacation.

Also had a dream where I was a little kid again, looking out our screen door and waving at the "scary boys," my mom said I called them. I don't remember the actual event, but in the dream I saw these kids in jackets and hoodies, strung all over the trees and calling me to join them. It reminded me of a picture...lemme see if I can find it. There we are.

Sometimes I have dreams/nightmares so vivid I'll actually be running around the room talking while asleep lol. Most recent account I was dream walking and said to my wife "Time out!!" Last night I had dream where I was going to skiing. I get there and get all my gear and start heading to the mountain. I had to cross a giant plaza with TONS of people on it. I have dreams like that all the time! When I was little, I had a dream that my family was moving and we couldn't bring our dogs with us. So my parents decided to KILL THEM(WTF? :confused:) I woke up crying without even realizing I had woken up. Then after a few minutes, I realized It was all a dream.

Here's one. I was at a party(for whatever reason) and I met this girl. We ended up becoming a couple after the party. One day I got really mad at her(don't remember why) and ended up hitting her. Later, I apologize, and she comes back to me. I remember thinking that she was stupid for coming back.

I generally don't remember my dreams, but certain parts of this one stick out to me. I'm not sure why.

I had a dream this guy dressed up in a pig suit in a clown car drove up to me and my sister in a hotel parking lot. He was offering a job at a fast food resteurant. My sister got in, and I went to ask my dad. Then the guy drove off. We later find out he is a kidnapper who murders children. We evantually save her, but they guy in the pig suit keeps trying to take revenge on us, but stalking us, trying to kill us, and selling us threatening E-mails.

1. I got killed by cyborg ninja babies with huge claws

2. I was on an island which was inhabited by giant flying lobsters. I tried to get off the island, but one of the lobsters spotted me and turned me into a tiny robot, then I had to word in a factory where I had to produce concrete blocks for multinationals.

3. I found myself in the woods with two of my friends, a girl I know and two Asians that carried a huge rope. Suddenly one of my friends decides he wants to skip rope, so the two Asian guys give him the rope. Then a giant squirrel appeared out of nowhere, jumps into the shoes of the other friend and drags him through the forest. Then I woke up.

I thought I was friends with the dead kennedy's and I was trying to get them back together, after a really long argument, they got up on stage and played chemical warfare...then they started fighting again, I woke up :cool:
