Those are just the six bands that come at me first that I wanna see on rock band.
What metal bands do you guys want to see and what songs....I guess if i had to pick 6 songs that would be the coolest for those bands i would say:
Slayer-South Of Heaven(for guitar) or Raining Blood(for drums)
Killswitch Engage-The End Of Heartache(killswitch would be really fun for vocals)
Children of Bodom-so many good ones for guitar just pick one i dont care
Dio-Holydiver of course
MachineHead-Imperium(would be really fun for drums and guitar and vocals, dam pick this lol listen to it and youll see what i mean)
Chimeria-Power Trip

other suggestions: double bass pedal for the drums, song builder make your own songs, online battle of the bands system(might have something like that not sure)

With the enormous opportunity of DLC I hope they explore every genre deeper. I for one would love to see some Dave Matthews, Phish, Ben Harper, John Mayer etc...

I love a wide range of music and it would be great to see tons of choices for download. I'm still waiting for the Dr. Feelgood album to be announced too :D

idk why you're talking about punk so much on a thread to suggest metal. with that being said Steel Attack, would love to see. Also, some old school megadeth, like last rites, mechanix, looking down the cross, dio would be sick too.

Im also dying to play some metal and i mean a real metal band with some badass tracks old and new. i know older games have had some metal but not much and not badass enough. i liked laid to rest from lamb of god but there are so many better songs from lamb of god also it was riffed so bad. anyway i wanna see:

Classic metal is balls imo, except Megadeth and Holy Diver. Melodic Death Metal is where its at for an all round great musical experience, sweet drums, sweet guitars (dual guitars too which would be much better than *yawn* bass).

All I want to see on there is some Carcass. In fact, that's basically all I really signed up for this forum for in the first place, was to say add Carcass. I'm surprised how many people like this "new death metal" stuff though, like Children of Bodom and such. I wouldn't really call that death metal, but hey, if that's what it is to you, then good for you. But the actual death metal I want to see is Carcass, and maybe some Deicide, Broken Hope, Obituary, Gorguts, Napalm Death, and all that now that I think about it.

I mainly just want to see In Flames and Opeth. I hope to god they throw in at least some Black and Death Metal, preferably no one that sounds like a carbon copy of every other band in the genre. I'd pretty much be set with that.

Either way, the game needs metal, because Guitar Hero doesn't even begin to have enough.

Yes. There should definately be more metal in this game. I wouldn't mind seeing more Dethklok. I know it's a "fictional" band, but the CD is coming out soon with full length tracks instead of the old minute long ones, and it would be rad to see that album go up for DLC. That would probably be my first choice. lol.
