there are better songs by most of those bands that i would have picked, but opinions are like a-holes: everyone has one and most of them stink. I like the direction and diversity of the selections. Its you thread so i wont put what I would have chosen. I can make my own for that. A7x and disturbed rock, korn is highly overrated , and blink 182 is a good band to learn instruments with. Theirs were among some of the first songs i ever learned on actual guitar. Rock on all....:cool:

I definatly think that's a great list but there would be a lot better MCR songs to put on there. I would love to see City Of Evil up for DLC though, with the masters to Beast and the Harlot instead of that shabby ass cover in GH2

this is possibly one of my favorite DLC lists I've seen. LP is my favorite band, however, I do just can't see them making it into Rock Band... They're just don't have guitar parts like everyone else in the game does, atleast I don't think. Disturbed would be sweet, Slipknot would be great, and Avenged Sevenfold would be awesome too.

Forget about JUST Heartbreaker. You MUST have Living Loving Maid if you have Heartbreaker. It's a double song! But why stop there? Put all of Led Zepplin II up there because that's their best album.

As for Sublime: you have to have Santeria. That's probably their best song for the casual Sublime fan.

And what about some Soul Asylum? Black Gold is a pretty kicking song.

Also just thought about this one: what about a couple of One-Hit Wonder packs? You know, through in a little Edwyn Collins here and a little Proclaimers there. That would be awesome.

The problem I see with bands like Avenged Sevenfold is the double bass: there's only one bass pedal. So that would make things difficult. Although the band is amazing.

most of that music is horrible. i'm glad much older and wiser people are the ones choosing content for us. i can definitely see a lot of kiddies developing a better taste in music because of this game.

I like the Incubus, Led Zep & RHCP (although I'd have chosen different songs in both cases), STP, Sublime (Date Rape would be a perfect addition, too), and Soundgarden. Not a big fan of the rest of the bands.
