How would you play Joey Jordison's parts??? Water-down the kick pedal???

How's about no.

Also screaming is not singing...

It's starting to look like they need to make a special game for "rokkstar", Teen-angst Band maybe?

Awesome I actually picked the songs two people would love. Lol, now we need more supports so they can actually release it, hm? lol

Did you know that you don't have to buy the pack? Plus you can practice the part I mean just like on Guitar Hero III the song Through the Fire and Flames, you won't get it the first time, or the next, it will take months or more to get it down, but if you want to do it, then do it. And if you don't agree, don't buy.

I think vermillion would be a great addition to the pack for this. It actually contains mostly singing, has some cool drumming, and a guitar solo as well (not that the guitar is too crazy on the song). Also, it's just a really good song...

Also for ppl *****ing in this thread, this is talk of DLC...so who cares? I dont' like blink 182, but I couldn't care less if they release a DLC pack for it. Plenty of ppl like them and I'm sure would have fun playin git.

At least it's not like some of the garbage songs included that you have to play in ranked matches (VAGIANT...The Konks..ugh...)

OMG, that's my point exactly. I mean if you don't like the band, and all I said was, "Well that's your opinion, why keep on going on ranting about it?

yeah id buy it. id agree that the heretic anthem should be included, but it probably wont because it might piss some people off or be edited, which would be worse than not having it in my opinion. still i too would be a little worried about joeys part. i only play the drums these days and without a double bass i just dont think the rock band drums would cut it.

12-05-2007, 06:22 PM
Yeah not a huge Slipknot fan but I do listen to Vol 3 on occasion and Vermilion would be awesome. Duality would be cool too. How about The Nameless?

The whole CD is pretty good but a lot of songs are not very applicable to Rock Band for vocals unless you can belt out some decent screams.

But then again it's DLC. If you don't plan on screaming don't buy it.. or just don't sing vocals.

Drossvirex
12-05-2007, 06:25 PM
How about some Stone Sour?

I don't know if Corey Taylor really appreciates these games after saw him in some interview and he said he hated Guitar Hero. But then again Slipknot is in GH3 so who knows?

im down. u could have better choices, but personally, if they had anything before vol. 3, id buy it. as long as its not a vol. 3 only pack id buy it. they went old school with metallica, they can do it with slipknot.

Honestly I don't think slipknot works for RB. The drums rely too much on double bass. The singing is screaming too much and not singing. The guitar and bass parts would be pretty dull too.

I don't like slipknot and Im not just trying to bash the band, but I just dont think their a good band for RB.

I own all 8 previous metallica albums. Obviously, you haven't. Metallica (Angrish Voice) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGdPb0N-cqI) Sum 41 (Singing) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tstDi4mC_7o) Even thought it's not singing it's still great music, you need to stop trying to start something.

Because I felt like it.

1.) If I edited the post after you replied (via 11:08 clearly written) what did it say? I can get an Admin to replace the message as it was written before for proof, that's a way of trying to begin a fued.

2.) The first quoted message, you can ask anyone that even though Metallica's not exactly singing, they're music is still great. And by saying that I thought they had a angrish voice that means I 'ever heard a metallica song'.

3.) Plus I edited the post to post the two videos, if I didn't then what did it say before?

i dont really want to start a fued dude you made a false statement i tried to correct you, if you think that metallica doesnt sing i feel sorry for you thats all, metal singers dont sing like poppunk singers.

It's singing METAL. I like METAL SINGING. I have nothing against it. But when you set it aside pop or punk you can tell a major difference. Metal is good nevertheless, I don't want to start anything either. Metal and Pop have totally different vocals, leave it at that why not?

Grr, can't edit post...

Anyway: Slipknot isn't really, 'not singing', it's just 'metal-singing', as I jsut said, we've brought in Metallica and we don't need them at this point. So let's leave them out, they're for another day they have 4 songs on RB, Slipknot have 0, that's the point of this thread, to get SOME SLIPKNOT.

For slipknot songs they really would be some of the hardest to drum. Also Lamb of God would be awesome for the drum people on Rock Band.

I would get the Slipknot pack if they released one for sure.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

ok now i dont care if you want slipknot, and if it makes it to dlc, fine i dont have to buy it (although id rather they spent there time putting better tracks up that id actually buy) BUT what really makes me laugh is the slipknot drummer is the best in the world remark

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

ok hes an alright drummer and hes definitely the most talented member of slipknot but hes nowhere close to the best drummer in the world. hell hes not even the best drummer in metal.

What I thought was awfully funny, was you couldn't support your claim with facts after I did mine. Anyway back ON topic. Whether or not he's the best drummer in the world (after receiving bunches of rewards for being it, some people are just not smart it seems SaRcAsM), you should just get tons of practice in to be able to get it. Of course you will probably not be getting 100% to the first time.

Yeah honestly slipknot is something of a teenage fad gone by, that I'm glad I never got into.

I listen to some of the most metal #$%^ out there, but slipknot isn't on that list.

WTF would you play on drums, the kegs that the 9th band member plays on stage? Common, seriously, if they add more metal to rock band, it had better be technical, and challenging. NOT slipknot. I'm from Iowa and I say no to slipknot.

Vote no for slipknot, and Yes for fast, better metal. Real metal for real hardworking people!

I'm sorry, I'm not into modern metal. or for that matter, (almost) every modern band. I could go for FOB, SOAD, but not slipknot.
Im more for older metal like motley crue and iron maiden, jethro tull, etc.
I wouldn't wish this to be even one of my three songs a week, but hey I guess one 13 year old's opinion dosen't count.

I'd love to have some slipknot. The drums would be hard as hell, but so was through the first and flames, and the devil went down to georgia on guitar hero. And Slipknot doesn't really scream that much, they just have an angry sound like most all other metal bands. Even when they do scream, doesn't mean you have to. As long as your on the same pitch as their scream you can hum the **** and complete it. So that isn't a good reason.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE BAND BEING ASKED FOR, DON'T CLICK ON THE THREAD.

I actually like Slipknot but i dont think it would be good for Rock Band. The drumming is waaaay to technical and their would be no way to measure the singing because most of it is screaming (at least the older good stuff).

Anyways I just dont think it would work out too well. The music would be too complicated.
