Anyone having more issues with this game stops reading and says that cd is scratched or dirty? It seems to happen to me when I pause the game or go to xbox console button. I am debating about getting it exchanged because sometime want to do the endless setlist, but will go crazy if it stops during middle of and have to restart.

I have the same problem.. it seems to happen when exiting back to the main screen after playing a song.. my xbox is old and has been repaired before, so i figured this may have something to do with it..

i just exit back to the Dashboard and go back in and it works..

My is an older xbox too, but still sucks. The game is perfect on the underside and I have always take good care of games and the system. I really don't know what I'll do if it happens. I was close to smashing guitar after failing at 92% on Raining Blood on expert. This EA be getting a quick call for a replacement then.

That used to happen to me before with just one game and then all of my other games after a month or so. I had to send my xbox 360 in for a replacement. I used to exit to the dashboard and load it up again as well. I didn't feel like sending it in until it scratched up one of my game discs pretty badly and ended up not loading any games after that.

Intermittantly having this problem now and then as well, never with any other games though. Not sure what's triggering it exactly yet, but it does seem to happen sometime after finishing a song but before it's saved to disk, because we've had to repeat the last song played every time.

hmm.. not exactly positive, but i read that the "disc error" usually leads to the RRoD.. so i'd say it's not the game, but your xbox..

Could be. It would be the third RRoD Xbox 360 for me, and so I wouldn't be surprised.

guys, just use a DVD player lens cleaning kit (it's a DVD with a cleaning brush on the disc), it works wonders. The kits themselves say to use them every 10 hours or so of use the laser gets. Assuming youve never cleaned yours even once before, that means youre waay past overdue. Dirty disc errors have nothing to do with the RRoD.
