Drums not working

My ps3 must not recognize the drums because I cannot play the drums.
When I plug the drum usb in the ps3 a message appears stating that an unknown usb plug has been found.

What to do about it?

Yeah havent had this problem pretty sure i posted this on some other guys thread to? but what you should prolly do is contact ps3 or rb not people who havent had the prob

Checked Sony's support - nothing on the issue.

could anyone give a reasonable explaination to this or am I the only person in the world that has had this problem... Everything is connect and what not, the light on the drums even comes on but yet the ps3 still does not recognize the drum set stating "Unknown USB has been plugged in".

I just want to play the drums.
Guitar has been seen before.. I DO NOT WANT!

I just had the same problem with my drum set straight outta the box, I figure if enough of us little folk have the problem, those big ea guys will pay attention to us! Have you heard anything back elsewhere on how to fix this problem? If so let me know! Hope everything's going okay for you.
