Shake is definitely the core of the show's humor... without him, the show would be pointless....

however, I didn't answer the question from the point of view of which character I felt was the most important to the show, or even the funniest. I answered from the perspective of which character I "liked" the best. Shake's an Ass, Carl's a loser, Frylock's bland, Meatwad is an impressionable child surrounded by bad influence.. he's the one you're "rooting for" in every story.
