Where's my RB1/RB2 Data?

I backed up my PS3 data because I had to get a new PS3. When I restored it, neither RB1 or RB2 data was present. Is this a known problem? I seriously don't want to redo everything, this has to be fixable.

Yes, the RB1 and 2 save game files are locked on the PS3. The Backup&Restore facility will only work if you are restoring to the same PS3 on which the backup was performed.

That would not technically be a "restore", but a copy.

In any case, no, you cannot transfer your exported songs to a new PS3. You can re-use the same downloaded export key, but you will need the disc, there's no way around it.
