so i started watching a few seasons in
what is the deal with Ryan. what has he done wrong?
i know he went up to corporate..
but in todays episode michael said ryan can have a second, second chance..
so what are the two things hes done?

I saw the first two seasons or so, but haven't watched it regularly in a long time.

Ryan started out as an intern in Scranton, then became an executive in New York for Dunder Mifflin. He ended up doing drugs and embezzling from the company, so he was fired. Then Michael re hired him, and then he ran off to Thailand.

Ryan left his temp job at Scranton branch to get a head job at corporate. But he became a junkie and eventually got arrested for hedging and cutting money from taxes or something like that. Recently I think he was back as the receptionist while Pam was at art school, I think

Absolutely. I've LOVED the show since day 1... but this episode really really sucked. I havent even watched the last 10 mins of it, when it went to commercial at 20 mins in, i said, lets watch something else, i have this DVR'd at home.

they were very fresh, new feeling, things are definitely taking shape.

these weren't regular "in" office episodes were the joke dominates, these were plot development episodes where stuff happens

i wish Vikrum had stayed on the Dream Team, i liked his character in Money
