Any chance of seeing Dave Matthews Band on this game? With the huge opportunity for DLC it'd be nice to see some stuff you wouldn't have considered for a game like Guitar Hero. I think DMB would be incredibly fun to play on Rock Band...

There would be alot of jam bands that would be fun too, like Greatful Dead or Phish. I think this would add even more fan base.

Yeah... all I have to say is Carter Beauford on the drums. I'd like to see people tripping over themselves trying to keep the beat with a song like Two Step.

The only reason not to see DMB as being potentially fun to play on RB is because many of their radio songs would probably be dreadful... Crash being their most famous song and, in my opinion, one of the worst choices for Rock Band.

This band shines on the road with jamming and such, which would make almost any of their songs a lot more fun to play.

I'm a huge DMB fan (see my name) and I'm probably a bit biased, but I can be honest with myself in knowing that many of the songs wouldn't be good. That doesn't mean, amongst the huge amount of material they have now, that you couldn't easily find enough really good ones for a track pack.

I'll buy any DLC from Dave Matthews Band. Do you hear that HMX??? My brother's such a big fan of theirs that he said if DMB is released, he'll go straight out and dump $700 on a 360 and Rock Band.

I was just thinking that Dave Matthews should definetely make Rock Band. Carter Buford is an amazing drummer. I think a lot of their stuff would be pretty challenging.

I would love to see some DMB songs as DLC. They have so many songs in their library that would be amazing on all the instruments, including vocals. Drums would be hard because Carter is crazy, but it would be fun to try. A live song from one of their many releases (i.e. Folsom Field, Central Park, or any of the live trax discs) would be awesome.

I also agree that a DMB song would be a great choice. I personally am a giant fan of the band, and know that DMB live is an amazing experience. Having that translated into the game would be very unique. Even having a Ants Marching live would be great to play, and it is a popular song. The only problem I see with DMB being in the game is the latter of their early work (excluding Timmy's parts on the album) do not have any electric guitar in them. But a DMB DLC would get my purchase in a second. Dave's slides and rythmic style on guitar would be challenging and then theres Carter- well, I think we all can agree there is no drumming style in the game quite like his.

I am a huge DMB fan, but honestly, most DMB songs would not be good in Rock Band, just becaues they are acoustic. Acoustic would not be fun to play in RB... no solos. I would love to see some electric DMB in the DLC, like So Right or I Did It. Drumming would be insane especially on Grey Street or Halloween, but if Harmonix is going to put any DMB into Rock Band, it will either be electric (So Right, I Did It) or radio songs (Crash Into Me, Stand Up, Everyday, etc.)

Why would playing a song without solos not be fun? There are plenty of songs in RB right now that don't have solos, or some that have solos that are really not different than playing the non-solo sections of the song. And why does acoustic automatically mean it won't be a good RB song? There are plenty of acoustic songs out there which are more difficult to play than electric songs. I mean, the acoustic guitar didn't stop Bob Dylan.
