For the last 7 years or so, my hair has been long, and i loved it. This morning my mom said that if i get my hair cut short, she'd buy me $50 worth of wii points

Well you got me beat. When I had cut my hair which I sported for close to 10 years and it was down to my a** I cut it off for the Locks of Love Foundation. For me it was just a time for change. Would have taken the 50 for it though.
