i was downloading no regrets by authority zero because i heard it was fun on bass.
and it went through, purchased, downloaded fine.
then when it went to backup content a message popped up saying

I'd like to revive this topic as I just had the exact same problem while purchasing 'Once' by Pearl Jam. The backup content screen just stays like that and I don't want to shut off the power because I'm scared of losing content.

I got this message last night downloading "Just What I Needed" by The Cars. I couldn't hit "Continue" so I turned my Wii off. Fortunately, when I went back to the Music Store, the song appeared as "Purchased" and I was able to download it again - this time without any problem. I just played the song and everything seems to be working fine.
