Rockband house party? Rockband Karaoke at bars?

Anyone had a Rockband house party? As in, invite people over, play lots of Rockband, and (optionally) consume lots of alcoholic beverages?

Had one this weekend with about 12 people at a friend's house. Its amazing that people who don't like video games at all love this game. Its also a cool way to hook up with people that are good and take a shot at moving up on the leaderboards.

It would also be cool if bars had Rockband in place of Karaoke. Anyone heard of such a thing (specifically in Orlando hehe)? :)

It would be hard to keep the equipment in working shape at a karaoke bar. The abuse that it would see is unimaginable.

I have a group of friends over nearly every weekend, and one of my friends is coming over every night at like 11 and leaving at 2 (he's supposed to be grounded, but he's allowed to take late night walks...).

I've had two Rock Band parties now. Both involved alchohol, one involved alot of it. It was fun and I'd definately recommend.

In Sioux City Iowa, we do GH at a bar. Last Saturday one of the guys was going to go home and get his Rockband, but decided against it. I dont see why it wouldnt last.......the guitars have had no problems in over a year...........
