Hey all,
So I have a High Definition LCD television and I've set my lag as such in the RB options. This gives me satisfactory guitar lag. I always feel that the notes are scrolling at the right speed.
Drums, however, I've noticed, as have other people, have to be hit earlier than one would think. Is this an illusion created by the time it takes to swing the sticks or does it mean that I have my lag calibrated incorrectly? I don't see why guitar would seem spot on while the drums would seem wrong, but I wanted to get some input from the pro drummers: Do you hit the notes slightly earlier than you would strum on the guitar? Am I swinging my sticks from too far away or something?

Also, I thought my icon was a question mark, but it appears to be a thumbs down. Whoops... :o

There's always that elusive "Edit" button. :)

Manual test is the best thing, does individual calibration for guitar and drums.

I'm having the exact same issue. I've done the auto calibrate which worked perfectly for the guitar but if I hit the notes in time with the music the hits are not counting. I'm having to hit the notes a split second earlier which really throws me off because it's not to the beat of the song anymore. I'll guess I'll have to try to manually calibrate but hopefully that doesn't screw up the guitar. Would really suck if I have to change calibration every time I change instruments.

So are you saying manual calibration stores 2 files, one for drums and one for guitar? If so I assume this is done by using the relevent controller when you calibrate?
