Dongle issues i need help!!!

I just got my replacement guitar today decided to plug it in after assembling it and low and behold it doesn't work. The dongle just blinks and wont connect with the guitar after waiting so long for the replacement and my drum pedal is out of action as well what the hell am i supposed to do please help!!!!!????

Making sure the guitar is on, hold down the button on the dongle for a few seconds. If you've tried that, and it doesn't work, I'm not sure what to do.
