Drum Pad Separation

I purchased my Rock Band 2 in late November of '08 and the rubber pad of the red pad has mostly separated and keeps popping out from under the plastic ring! The green pad seems to be well on its way to this end as well. This hasn't seen all that much use compared to some people, weekend warrior only mostly. Anyone know what I can do about this to fix it, since it seems that there is only a 60 day hardware replacement warranty?
