I thought there were going to be more available, but i am only really seeing the ones they sell at Best Buy. There are a few companies who make "skins" for the LP, but i think i would rather have an interchangeable faceplate rather than putting a sticker on my guitar. Does anyone have a different faceplate than the one it came with it? If so, post a pic and let me know where you got it from. Also, if you have used a skin on any of your guitars, how do they look/feel? Are they good quality? And if so, where did you get it? Thanks in advance.
Where is the "Arm the Homeless" faceplate?

Here are a couple of links to a few companies who make the skins for the LP. I am not too sure about them though.

You could always disassemble and Paint it red. Like the guys did with the PS3s to make red/white ones just after they launched. You just scuff the outside with some sandpaper and use the rattle cans made for plastics. Putting it back together you'd want some hot glue as well to make it like it was. Seems pretty easy if you're wanting to change the color other than the face plate. (I'll probably do something like that after the warranties are up)

I considered painting mine, I wouldn't want to spend money on a faceplat though. That seems pointless.

Faceplates are coming.
Right after they make collectible detachable necks.

There's a bit of business strategy in making crappy faceplates at launch.
Users wanting to customize their guitar will buy one of these lemons, then have to re-buy a second faceplate a few months down the road once they do some actual decent designs.

I am getting impatient though and i need an ETA.

I wouldnt want to void the warranty, since we all know how reliable the controllers are......

I picked up the fake maple wood one for my LP and now can go crazy with paint on the original if I want. I'm thinking of going for the Zakk bullseye, or maybe going to Rocklers and getting some bridseye maple veneers. Dying those is pretty easy, then it's just gluing them on and trimming them up and there's your real wood top.;)

A week or so ago, I went to my local Best Buy and saw that they were selling the Sex Pistols face plate for a penny. They were sold out before I got there, though.
I imagine this happened because someone, somewhere objected to Best Buy displaying something that said "Sex Pistols" on it in the high traffic areas toward the front of the store.

No, actually from what I can understand and gather from others is that it was just another Best Buy new release related deal. But on the same hand it wouldn't surprise me if some tight a$$ took offense to a couple of words.
Personally I snagged up 5 of'em to paint later. The flame job was the first one I painted. Waiting for the individual Les Pauls to hit the street before I paint anymore of them though.

sometimes when items are trying to be pushed out of inventory, the "penny them out". When i worked at EB they used to do that all the time with the old strategy guides. We would penny them out (ring them up) and then just throw them away.

I really want a hammer and sickle one...
Work for a company? Want me to pay up to around £30 for a faceplate which looks awesomely cool? Go make a hammer and sickle one. Che Guevara maybe?
J/K i would like more choices though.

Wow, Capitalism at its best...making money off of commies!
Seriously though, has anyone tried these skins? I'd like to make my Explorer look a bit better (just looks so cheesey as is).
