Every male in my family since (as far as I know) my Great Great Great Grandfather has been named John, so I was too. Not sure why... its just a thing I guess.

I really dont remember were the origins of my name came from in my family. I think I was named after my grandpa.
I was supposed to be Noah but my mom changed her mind because she thought I would be made fun of at school because they'd say stuff like "Noah build the ark". Stupid reasoning I know. But she finally decided on Alex.

This will make some of you lol.
When my mom was 7 months pregnant, my brother, who is 17 now, 2 1/2 at the time, listened to my heartbeat on the ultrasound machine. His first reaction was "Mommy, it sounds like Thomas the Tank Engine!!!". And there it was, Thomas Martin (I'm not sayin my last name) born September 3, 1994 at 9:05 AM, named after a godamn animated train. This story is completely TRUE, no lies.

Now that me and my brother are both teenagers, it's somewhat embarrassing now. My middle name, Martin, was originally going to be my first name. It came from my maternal grandpa.

Or maybe they named him The Clash and them imposed the Clash lifestyle on him. For all we know his baby blanket had the London calling album cover on it. Seems more logical and plausible than psychic parents.

That's possible. He couldn't rebel against it because the Clash were a punk band and rebelliousness is celebrated in those cultures. So by rebelling he would be conforming.

My parents thought my name sounded cool (it's Vincent, it means victorious in Latin) and I think my name sounds cool too. Not so happy about my middle name though (Paul). I'm thinking about changing it.
Oh, and most people call me Vince, so if, for some reason you decide to call me by my name instead of my username, you can call me Vince.

My mother liked it. That simple. Mine doesn't have a story.
My brothers are more entertaining with their names. My brother Scott is named after Scottie from the original Star Trek. My brother Max's middle name is Victor, named after my mother's favorite soap opera character.
Yeah, my parents are weird. I am glad I didn't get a name like that.

If you don't know, Paul means humble. Therefore your name is about being a gracious winner. It's better than being a bear-like person who makes clothes for a career (the aggregate of my name).
