Is it just mine or still having issues with the drum headset? I was hoping when I got it today that it would work, but again nothing. Beginning to wonder if its the adapter causing the problem, but I know some people it does work on drums and headset. Now I have to decide if ship in to replace the replacement.

What problem are you having? Is the adapter plugged in all the way on both the drums and headset (I had troubles with this at first, too)?

I couldnt get mine to work either. Then i decided to switch the adapter to the other one that came with the game that I wasn't using.......That worked for me. It appears the adapters are of mixed quality so I would try that first. If that doesn't work you can go to Radio Shack and buy one from them.

Hope that helps.

Is this only for the 360 Drumkit? I can't find a place for a headset anywhere on my PS3 version??

It pressed all the way. Really no way for it not to be pressed in all the way if you have the plastic cover on it. I switched the adapter and still nothing. At least I tested it sending a message over xbox live and didnt make a sound.

try this, it worked for me... at least I can record a message now while plugged into the drumset with my microsoft headset.

if you have a voice message to listen to great, if not record one with the headset plugged into the regular wireless controller (you know that works). you may have to have a buddy send you a voice message, now that i think about it. when you change controllers(going from wireless to the drum) it may not work correctly, you'll know soon enough.

Now plug the headset into the drumset using your adapter, make sure the adapter has a tight connection with the headset plug.

start playing that recorded message over and over, while you adjust the end of the adapter plug in the drumset port. I found mine to work best when it wasn't quite in all the way.

When I could hear it well, i tried recording a message and it worked.

good luck
