Anyone watching the Yankees right now??

Oh man this is good... 20-2. I personally am a Jays fan and when I saw Cleveland post a 14 spot in the 2nd I had to post something on here lol. Any opinions on if this is any indication on how bad the Yankees pitching is going to be this year?

Time will tell, but it is only one game. I wouldn't read too much into it this early in the year.

Chien Ming Wang has had three lousy starts in a row though. That should be very unsettling for Yankees fans.

i could care less about what the yankees do or dont do, until my team(chisox) faces them. i find it curious that so many people hate on the yanks for the way they spend money but they are doing it within the confines of the rules that are set in place.

Well it's not that they lost it's just that I have a 4 hour drive home and I think I would rather do it sooner than later. They can score as many runs as they like a loss is only one loss and they don't get extra credit for scoring 20 runs. It was still a fun game just soooooo long. lol

im a huge red sox fan, and I got a feeling, it just won't work out. Paying burnett for so much and so long is a risk, he very easily could get injured.

i never said the yanks were spending it wisely just that people who cling to their dislike of the yankees shouldn't use their spending power as a reason. i understand why people do it but they should also look at the results. the yanks continue to overspend the rest of the league and they are in a championship drought. obviously their strategy is not working at the moment.

well actually swisher was brought in via trade :D

and as someone who watched swisher last year in the chi, he is very streaky so expect a 2 for 21 stretch soon enough.

This. I also find it amusing how loud he blasts the music in the clubhouse...you can barely hear the other players when they're being interviewed anymore.

I'm not too concerned about the Yanks yet...we're only twelve games into it. They always do better after the all-star break too.

I'm happy the Yankees are struggling but it's still April if they are still a .500 team July 1st I'll be happy. Realisticly though come the All-Star break Red Sox, Yankees, Rays will be well ahead of the O's and Jays in the East.
