Watching the clips on YouTube with envious eyes....when do us Europeans get this?
Anyone know?

Nothing official yet but it looks like it won't hit Europe before mid February. Most online game shops have it for mid-feb (Germany) or early march (Switerland). So I guess we'll just have to wait until we get the official release date, but don't expect it to be too soon (i think early/mid March is a fair guess).

The PS3 is region free, if that helps any. You can totally import it, if you don't mind our Americanized English :)

I think importers have had difficulties with exchanging faulty equipment though, so that would be something to look into.

Probably won't get the patch here in Europe, either. So I suggest waiting would be the smartest thing to do, although it sucks (I can't wait for Rock Band but will wait for it to hit the shelves here... I'll get it on the first day though, thats for sure!).

No one would have believed, that in the last months of the year 2007, Rock Band affairs were being watched from the timeless voids of the EU... and slowly, but surely, with 'envious eyes' they drew their plans against them.

Sorry bout that... had a sudden War of the Worlds flashback. Count me as a fellow EU member (UK) also fretting over the non-existent release date... maybe something will crop up after the Canadian release!

Guess we better get the Canadians to help us in this, as long as they don't have Rock Band either (which won't be long)! But then again, having the US players test the game and hardware isn't that bad either. I don't mind getting a fully functional bundle without having to send back guitar/drums after a couple hours of play. Guess it all got it's positive sides, although waiting sucks!!!!

But I guess early march will be it... only three months... *sigh*
