I know the answer to that...
If you're a religious individual, you were probably told that evolution was not true, and that God created all animals at once. In this case, the chicken came first.
But, if you are a non-religious person, who doesn't mind the theory of evolution, and knows it's there, the egg came first. Egg cracked into chicken. Egg evolved into chicken, through means of adaptation from the chick inside.
But if you aren't a believer in both...

I've been using the GH forums since GH1 back in 2005 :p
The Guitar Hero Community forums came out with GH3 though. In either case, before rock band (the original rockband forums in November '07 were ugly as hell, so I didn't join until they fixed it....which they did lol yes, this was completely unrelated to the rest of the post, but I thought I'd share)
