Mic Overdrive Problems

Is anyone else's mic not going into overdrive when they shout? The vocals still work and the Overdrive used to work but now I have to blow into the mic to get it to use star power... err, Overdrive.

ye and thats a stupid way to activate it. it makes u look like a ****** there should be a button or somethin

I'm having the exact same problem,
I can get it to work maybe once or twice in a song..by chance. But the rest of the time, I'll even scream into it but it doesn't do anything.
I wouldn't care as much if there weren't a damn easy trophy for achieving vocal overdrive 4 times in a song..
I almost wish you just pushed a button like in Guitar Hero.
