OK, alright, I get it. The singers would probably go crazy. Then again, with the lyrics right there, it's not like you need to know Japanese to sing these songs. So with that obvious criticism aside, here's what I think would be a good set for a Japanese Rock DLC 3-pack:

The Pillows - "Advice" - You might recognize it from FLCL. Perhaps more suited to Guitar Hero, this still has a really good drum part and a slightly challenging backup guitar part. The vocals are... tough.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation - "After Dark" - You might recognize this from Bleach. While AKFG has a lot of great songs, this more recent single feels really well-suited to Rock Band. Pretty good parts for each instrument.

L'arc-En-Ciel - "Ready Steady Go" - You might recognize this from FMA. This one even has some english in it! Lol. Seriously, this is a really fun song.

Best part of all? In solo mode, when you play DLC songs, you play in Tokyo. Seems fitting.

So if Rock Band ever decided to go foreign, that's what I recommend. It'll probably never happen, but I can dream.

There are a lot better bands out there than those.

Malice Mizer and Gackt are both really good J-Rock/Goth bands. And they also use English vocals as well as Japanese.

Not as mainstream, however.

I wouldn't mind seeing Back-on in rock band.

Yeah, don't much care for them. At all.

Idk about J-Rock not to big on that....

As far as anything foreign, aside from the singing I would have to, HAVE TO, go with Rammstein
