I have a PS3, but it gets messed up at times. like freezing and junk. so i have a question. if i got the ps2 GAME ONLY and got the ps3 bundle, and something goes haywire on the ps3, will the ps3 instruments work on the ps2?

Really? Been playing on PS3 since launch with no issues, you might want to look into getting your PS3 replaced.

I think the unofficial answer is that the PS3 instruments will work on the PS2.

Also - I call shenanigans on anyone posting in their first post about the PS3 "freezing and junk". While I know that it's not completely unheard of, it's far more likely this is yet another person trolling in an attempt to make the PS3 look bad. There's been an awful lot of that around here lately. If I am wrong, my apologies, and welcome to the boards.
