I'd be suprised if these guys didn't drop a few tracks in there, especially considering the success of American Idiot and its' tour(s).
I'd be down for the American Idiot Album as DLC, but if not, there's lots of songs in their catalogue that would work well in this game.
I'd love to see their cover of Working Class Hero, in addition to Jesus of Suburbia, which may be a pipe dream, considering its 9+ minutes long.
Your thoughts?

I would download it. Anything off Dookie would be a no-brainer.

Older stuff? Yes. American Idiot? No.
American Idiot was one of those albums that pretended to say important things but really offered no original thoughts or insight and came off as entirely pretentious. Plus some of the lyrics are terrible. My favorite example is "Wake Me Up When September Ends". Those lyrics sound like they were made up on the spot. Like he was supposed to learn the lyrics the night before but forgot and so just improvised, knowing that each phrase ends with the name of the song. Don't even get me started on "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". Let me just say that a band that has had as much success as Green Day has no right to talk about "broken dreams".
Green Day's older stuff is less topical and better. I'd go with "Basket Case", "When I Come Around", "Brain Stew", or "Walking Contradiction" as a few good examples.

Oh come on, there's some good songs on American Idiot. Some incredibly crappy ones too, though, i agree. ;) They do have some songs (on any album) that would really be fun to play though!

I just like the albums instrumentals more than anything...the lyrics are pretty generic. I think it's technically a proficient pop-punk album.

American Idiot the CD or Bullet in a Bible live? I would prefer BIAB because it has a range of the best Green Day tracks written along with some lame. Can't recall but I own the BIAB CD/DVD package and it deserves a place for at least $11.99 on the DLC list.

Yeah Green Day kicks major ass. I love them. It would be awesome if they put out Green Day's new album since it comes out in the middle of 2008. It would be awesome if they made it for album dlc on the day of its release and have green day songs before they put the album on to get you totally crazy about it.
