Guitar Solo playRB1 - WII

Hi, I have just purchased RB1. At present I only have a guitar and not a microphone or a drum kit. When I try to play solo it says that I have to connect the microphone to the USB. I have tried syncronising the wii remotes but each one automaticlly syncs to the microphone option. Any ideas?

Are you using a second Wii mote to navigate the menu? If so Don't. Use the joystick on the guitar.

1) Using a Guitar Hero guitar? It's incompatible, you're out of luck.

2) Don't navigate with the Wii remote (even go so far as to take the batteries out so you know it's disconnected), use the guitar itself.

Thank you - yes I am using a guitar hero guitar. Bollocks. Will have to try to find that receipt to return the game.
