Is anyone celebrating Earth day today?'

If so, how are you planning to save the Earth today?!

Sorry I don't know what people really do on this day so poll is screwed up.

no, you damn hippies and your stupid special days. People are going to treat every day as earth day so why even bother having a special day for it. Cut your hair.

tree huggers dont need an excuse (re: Earth Day) to hug trees. Anyone who mentions it is probably just trying to look cool

I celebrate earth day every day!
(kind of snarky) - there's all sorts of random stuff people do as part of their everyday routine that minimizes your footprint - living with roommates, riding bikes, eating less (or no) meat.
Earth Day, to me, is kind of hokey but not a bad holiday. These days it's so trendy to be "green" though that I'm surprised there aren't more events going on.

oh - and hey - could you edit the poll to add in some examples of Earth Day tunes?

I don't really know any, and where I was coming from was just playing Rock Band in general, and all songs being related to Earth day somehow.

ah I see. In that case, to celebrate Earth Day I am going to elect to play some tunes. I may give All the Things That Go to Make Heaven and Earth a shot on guitar.

I celebrate earth day every day!

ME TOO!:D

It is good that the "holiday (If you were to call it that)" promotes environmentalism. However, it is sad it takes a holiday for some people to actually participate. They should be doing whatever they can to minimize their impact on the planet every day, not just one.

Global warming is a vast government conspiracy. Don't give into Al Gore and all his green might!

I'm not sure how much I care about the Earth, but I do care about our resources and the global warming business.

This is a band I found out about today. All of their songs are about the environment and its problems. It's actually kind of interesting, although I'm not really a big fan of the music itself:

I don't celebrate Earth Day but I think I have helped the earth enough with my backyard landscaping. I have trees, a creek, and tons of plants. This in turn has attracted a lot of wildlife.:D

And I am not a hippie. I just like being able to go out on my back porch to relax.;)
