Has any clarification been made about the fee to import the songs into RB yet?

If so is there a reasoning behind it?

I understand the RB1 fee because it wasn't licensed for the RB platform, but I thought that was taken care of with anything from there on out so it wouldn't happen again.

Any one have any news on this front?

Since it hasn't been confirmed by HMX that there will be exportation, nothing has been said on how such a process might work in L:RB.

My most wanted Hendrix song, and um... finally Hendrix in RB!

Kind of funny they choose to introduce him to RB through Lego RB, i'll take it

I'm willing to bet on a Jimi mini-fig.

The setlist does have corny pop songs like "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr, "So What" by Pink, "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas, "In Too Deep" by Sum 41, and "Aliens Exist" by Blink 182, but it also chooses energetic and catchy tunes that have wider appeal like "Ruby" by Kaiser Chiefs, "Let's Dance" by David Bowie, "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and The Waves, and "Fire" by Jimi Hendrix.Hmmmm.....

It's weird that you can export Lego RB, including Hendrix i'm assuming, but you can't export Hendrix in the GH series....

Hope this means exclusivity of Hendrix for HMX and a huge Hendrix 12-pack or full album DLC

Added the following, thanks to will_c_75 for bringing this to our attentioin.

Players who miss one too many notes won't fail out but instead lose all the studs (or points), the in-game currency, that they have earned in the song so far. But to be gentle, they can recover up to all of their lost studs if they hit the notes in the recovery phrases that follow. In addition to Super Easy mode where players only have to strum the notes at the right time (you can hold down any button), the option to automate the kick pedal for the drums has been added not just for kids with short legs, but for those with leg disabilities.

There's even a toggle for the short "radio edit" version of a track so that your hyperactive fourth-grader doesn't get bored by the sixth chorus of some song by The Police. - GameRevolution ( http://www.gamerevolution.com/preview/xbox360/lego-rock-band)

With this new information, we now know 26/45 Tracks (or 25 if "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" are combined into 1 track) (Or 27 if you believe the "We Built This City" rumour that was from E3, which I do, knowing HMX's sense of humour)

Now we just need to know what the other bloody 18/19/20 are!!!

Sayburr, they also confirm that export will be an option "for a small fee".

[EDIT] Which is really interesting, as it sounds like RB1 export. That would open the door to renting and exporting unless it is a one-time key tied to the disc. (I would not endorse such an action, mind you).

Hendrix has come right out of left field! :D I can only hope this leads to more of the Experience coming to RB in the future.

I wonder if he will have a mini-fig? I could be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the Hendrix estate only allowed his songs into GH on the proviso that a likeness of Jimi was playing on his songs?

It's also great to see exportability mentioned by another source and compatibility with some DLC. Great news all round!

I have to agree with the Whoster. I know I'm not really the target market for either game, but the L:RB laps the BH setlist. There's maybe a half-dozen or so songs I would want from BH off a full setlist, while there are about half-a-dozen songs I wouldn't get from L:RB, on about half the setlist.

LEGO's doing a good job so far on songs that Mom and Dad can teach Little Johnny and Jill BUT right now if you were to show a kid both setlists they're going to choose Band Hero.

Sucks the link got taken down.

Preordered this from Toys R Us for $35 a few days ago. Good to hear all the new features. Auto-kick will make drums much less intimidating at parties.

I wish there was a parental controls feature that would allow you to control the censorship of DLC songs from the playlist and RB2 could export to LRB. RB2 is stale as hell.

Actually, no. Apparently the stipulation for GH getting his songs was that only a Jimi avatar could play his songs. Lego makes this possible. for that reason it also wouldn't surprise me if this song dosn't export to RB2.

I don't know what to believe...Its a very strong rumor... but until HMX confirms any of it, its not true. We have seen before things pop up saying things will be in the game only to find out later than it is not true. Thus, rumors are not true until HMX confirms them.

T-Hybrid is gonna be walking on sunshine....

LRB *IS* AC/DC! ....No, I'm not talking about the band -- I just mean the game swings both ways. Export or import, your choice. (Although I'm sure the filter they talked about will prevent the "T"-rated songs from trekking over to LEGO.)

And great news about Hendrix and Katrina.

And great news about the Achievements.

And the other stuff.

And yes, I believe the rumor....that's a pretty reputable site, not some fanboy blog. HMX/LEGO probably told them to take it down.

And for those speculating on the other 18-20 songs left to reveal: I'd say a 90% chance that at least one of them will be from Limp Bizkit, considering our very first info about this game came from Fred Durst's own personal tweeter (that's an unpleasant image, if you think about it)

General Lein979

You know what I bet if Hendrix is on the game it won't be exportable tell rb3 because Hendrix has to be played by a Hendrix avatar and lego has celebrity avatars. I'm betting on the non exportable of Hendrix if it's true unless the sneaky bastards hid a Hendrix avatar that is only playable on Hendrix songs in the game with the latest patch what isn't out of the question. I just doubt it.

I wonder if there is a Lego Brian May in the game, seeing as how there is an achievement called "Brian MAY Get Jealous"?I would place money on him. He seems to be ok with rock band seeing how he's interested in rbn.

It's hard to compare LEGO minifigs to "realistic" avatars from RB and GH. Whatever the Hendrix estate's view on exporting "Fire" into RB2, I doubt a minifig will have any impact on the decision.

*COUGH* I think I'm gonna see a bug in my throat on that Tuesday. *COUGH* "No sorry, I can't come to work." lol! Nah...I need my paycheck.

So basically, you're getting 20 DLC songs you like and the extra ten is from the awesomeness that is a Lego engine.

Honestly, I can't really see them thinking a Lego version of him being much better... Also, that might be bad news. It might mean that that song won't be exportable...

On a brighter note, I'm really glad this game is able to be mainstream without being completely so like Band Hero is doing, which seems to be mainly consisted of crappy modern Disney pop and songs already on RB.

Considering the idea of recovering studs was first brought up in the pulled source, and an achievement now mentions that very thing, I'd reckon everything in the new "rumor" is actually a leak that Harmonix tried to plug up before too many people noticed.

To me with the article removed, unless its been confirmed elsewhere to be 100% false, than i can bet that some naught boy broke an NDA! Things are rumours all the time and there never removed the whole article. Unless it is in breach of contract ;)

And on that point:

lol, why 42 or 49? To me 45 just seems right for the game that this is and the discounted price. Hope i am wrong and there is more.

And your right Band Hero has a ton of tracks, heaps i want too! I am unsure, i just want info soooo bad.

So if this proves correct, which is probably likely, does aspiring get some sort of online trophy for correct guess :D

Definite buy for me!As long as there a and b (collectively not just personal opinion) and stays at the $50 price window it should be fine. If there set list enlargers like most hmx band songs then there could be a problem. If it keeps up this pace with the quality it will be perfect; especially if Hendrix is in.

If the export is 100% the reviews won't care about the setlist because it is a greater value then buying tracks in the store. 45 for 50 sounds better then 25 for 50 buying stand alone tracks. Also rb1 had 45 non bonus songs for 60 with 7 of those being covers.

45-song setlist GameRevolution ( http://www.gamerevolution.com/preview/xbox360/lego-rock-band)

Katrina and the Waves – Walking on Sunshine
Jimi Hendrix – Fire
-----GameRevolution ( http://www.gamerevolution.com/preview/xbox360/lego-rock-band)

Any downloadable track for Rock Band that passes through a content filter can be imported into Lego Rock Band

Nice. I approve of this info.

And about the exportability, I don't really care if it does end up being like RB1 and we have to pay a small fee. It's worth it if I can play my songs in RB2 if I want to.

I'm super excited about this game and just get more so every time new info is revealed.

so what is everyone's guesses at the rest of the set-list then, that leaves 19 tracks to be revealed. (also I'm still a stick in the mud with the ZZTop/AC/DC thing cause I want both :P)

4) Bungle in the Jungle - Jethro Tull (rounding out the 3-pack)
5) Time of the Season - The Zombies (rounding out the 3-pack)

7) Cheap Sunglasses - ZZTop (Assuming the rumor is true)
8) It's a Long Way to the Top (if You Want to Rock n' Roll) - AC/DC (assuming the rumor is true)
9) Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol (despite the undertones it's very kid friendly)
10) Surrender - Cheap Trick (surprised Trick hasn't returned yet)
11) Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company (see above)
12) Fly By Night - Rush (can't have a proper RB game without Rush)
13) Rock n' Roll Highschool - The Ramones (cracked file)
14) Rock the Casbah - The Clash (come on you know you want it)

17) Burning Down the House - The Talking Heads (it's surprising absence from the pack)
18) Rock Lobster - The B-52's (we've known about a B-52's song for awhile, perfect place for it)
19) Brown Sugar - The Rollingstones (cracked DLC file)

....somewhere down the line, it became more what I want, than what I actually think could happen, though most of them do have some basis in reality with them being mostly RB1/RB2 bands, that had decent following in RB circles, with alot of marketability to kids.

I feel like if we get Boston we'll get Amanda. That's Boston's most famous song out of the ones we don't have yet. And, hey, if We Will Rock You can make it to Lego Rock Band (which doesn't have much going on if you exclude the guitar solo at the end), we can definitely do Amanda even though it's a ballad. Nothing naughty about it either.

You list isn't terrible but... I don't know. I don't feel like some of those are well known enough. It feels like they're trying to pick mainly songs everybody knows. Time of the Season is well known, sure, but a lot of the rest... I feel like it's more of a wish list than reality.

Satisfaction is tamer than brown sugar. I would be BOC is godzilla.

Also you list needs way more modern stuff. EX:
When I come around by greenday is pretty tame. They also are a rb exclusive.
Use Somebody - Kings of leon theoretical #4 with most kid friendly hit missing
Can't Stop- Red Hot Chili peppers
Ocean Avenue- Yellow card Band hero
Beverly hills- weezer hmx might have went back to weezer brought home 4 new songs and we've seen 3 so far with the one left on lego similar to foo fighters
Seven Nation army or fell in love with a girl- White stripes the on disc in theory #4
What I've done Linkin park- pretty tame and kids love linkin park.

Also possible:
Switch kiss to Rock n Roll all night kids love this song
love is a battlefeild by pat benetar lack of female vocalists
BOC to Godzilla or burnin' for you
Superstition- Stevie Wonder if hmx also got him this on here, this song is incredibly family friendly.
I Heard it Through the grape vine - Marvin Gaye one of his songs is on here if hmx got him also.

15) Strutter - Kiss (rounding out 3 Kiss master tracks)
16) Don't Look Back - Boston (no Boston track was the biggest hole in RB2)
17) Burning Down the House - The Talking Heads (it's surprising absence from the pack)
18) Rock Lobster - The B-52's (we've known about a B-52's song for awhile, perfect place for it)
19) Brown Sugar - The Rollingstones (cracked DLC file)

....somewhere down the line, it became more what I want, than what I actually think could happen, though most of them do have some basis in reality with them being mostly RB1/RB2 bands, that had decent following in RB circles, with alot of marketability to kids.

I understand that this is more of a personal wishlist for you, but I thought you should know that stuff happened after the 80's.

My prediction:

[...]
Sweet Victory - Spongebob Squarepants

For crying out loud, "Sweet Victory" is NOT... You know what? I'm tired of saying this. Do your own damn research.

Modern English - Melt With You
Talking Heads - Burning Down the House
Rick Springfield - Jessie's Girl
Toni Basil - Mickey
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me

Godzilla - BOC
Burning Down The House - Talking Heads
Fell In Love With A Girl - The White Stripes

I could see both of these setlists rounding out the game. Switch out a few of the older songs for newer ones, though.

Fine I'll write it fully out.

You miss the point....he meant the song contains the lyrics "hardcore soft porn." NOT something likely to show up in a LEGO setlist. (Not to mention the title alone...."CaliFORNICATION")

Also....this thread has rapidly degenerated into an Ultimate Setlist....

I don't know how I misunderstood the post now that I look back on it. It makes me seem like someone who breaths through their mouth. Also I agree that it is turning ultimate setlisty. I think we need a sub thread.

Since everybody seems to be throwing out predictions here is mine.

1.The Go-Gos - "Our Lips are Sealed" because they have a song in RB2
2.Grateful Dead- "Touch of Grey"- we know this song is licensed for the RB platform
3.The Wallflowers- "One Headlight" - big hit from the late 90s
4.Traveling Wilburys "Handle With Care"- All Wilburys have a song or appeared in another song through the games or dlc.
5.Weezer- "Island in the Sun" they already have a bunch of songs released so why not one more
6. Spin Doctors- "Two Princes" because I've wanted this song for nearly 2 years,
7.Twisted Sister- "We're not Gonna Take It"- cause it rocks.
8. Gary Newman -"Cars" because of that awesome tambourine part
9.Golden Earring- "Radar Love"- don't have a logical reason
10. The Kinks- "Lola"- because gender confusion is kid friendly right? We want are kids to have open minds right?
11.Los Lobos- "La Bamba"- I know its a cover. Its really fun to sing.
12. Big Country-"In A Big Country"- its on Band Hero so cant be too hard to license.
13.Better than Ezra- "Good"- my list dates me doesn't it.
14 The Bangles-"Walk Like an Egyptian"- lego mummies and pyramids, just picture it.
15. Barenaked Ladies-"One Week" - honestly I picked it because I can't really think of more songs and it happens to fall under the previous song in my itunes.
16.Billy Ocean- "Caribbean Queen" - to start operation hell on earth. cookie to all those who get the obscure reference.
17.The Cranberries- "Dreams" I don't think Zombie would be kid friendly
18. Weird Al Yankovic- "The Saga Begins"- Star Wars lego battle it out in the background.

Ok, I doubt any of those will make the cut. Oh well there is always Lego Rockband 2.

Yeahyeah

After writing up my list, I remembered them and Skynyrd, and I still think the cover of the game is a huge hint at another brick in the wall (a man can hope, but seriously it would be so perfect)

I could see them tapping Foghat, and The Scorpions too

One of the levels is supposed to be about using the "power of rock" to summon a storm. If so, Rock You Like A Hurricane would be perfect.

4.Traveling Wilburys "Handle With Care"- All Wilburys have a song or appeared in another song through the games or dlc.Maybe Jeff Lynne did play on the Tom Petty tracks but would consider a ELO track as him having a song on the platform. Maybe "Do Ya", "Don't Bring Me Down" or "Hold on Tight" on the game?

Some peoples guessing th erest of the setlist does not seem right, and if so i would be very dissapointed. Yeah they are some good old rock, but really if the game is aimed at a different audience, why would younger kids want to play Boston, Foreigner ZZ Top etc? If so i would be pissed. You only have to look at the stelist so far, as well as Band Heros to see where they are going with the Setlist. I want Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, New Found Glory, Paramore etc. Songs that is the games market audience. No point saying songs you want just because there kid friendly. I would love some Underoath etc, but its not really suitable for this game.

If there's 18-20 songs left to reveal, I'd expect only about 4-5 to be classic rock, TBH.

My own prediction for the remainder:

*LEGO counters BH's Taylor Swift with a couple of exclusive tracks from the JoBros (yeah, retchable to those of us over 18, but this would kill the Taylor Swift attraction for the tweeny-boppers in one fell swoop)
*a Linkin Park Transformers anthem (either What I've Done or New Divide)
*a pop queen like Beyonce, Rihanna, or Mariah
*The Black-Eyed Peas (Boom Boom Pow, or I Gotta Feeling, or Let's Get It Started)
*The Pussycat Dolls (again, steals away a big chunk of Taylor Swift's audience)
*an American Idolist or two, like Kelly Clarkson, David Archuleta, Daughtry or Jordin Sparks
*Katy Perry
*Nickelback (ugh)
*Justin Timberlake
*Kanye (would be hilarious, given the Kanye vs. Taylor battle)
*and more poppy, peppy songs from the 90s-00s.

*EDIT: and also waiting to see what the Limp Bizkit track will be. "Break Stuff" would be appropriate, but VERY inappropriate at the same time. About the only "friendly" radio edit I could think of would be "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)".

Yeah mate thats what i am getting at. People guessing classic rock is not right as that is not what this game is.

Your setlist i would cream my pants over though. As stupid as i probably will sound, but this is what I want from my LEGO experience. I know its aimed at kids and i want in. Pussycat Dolls, Jonas Brothers, Kate Perry, Kelly Clarkson etc. I am hoping that these or similar are whats there. It would be amazing. But if the rest of the setlist contains classic rock i will be pissed. But i doubt it as thats not what the target audience for this game likes.

Break stuff? On a kids game? LOLNO

Again, people see the word "f*CK or **** and see suggestive lyrics and say no to a kids game, yet rquest Boston, Motley Crue and Foreigner??? What kid likes these bands? What kid has heard of them??? (Not directed at you CCDaDon just using your quote as an example)

...yet rquest Boston, Motley Crue and Foreigner??? What kid likes these bands? What kid has heard of them??? (Not directed at you CCDaDon just using your quote as an example)

Granted, kids most likely haven't heard of these bands. But do you think I knew who Boston was in Guitar Hero One? No. Did More Than a Feelings still change my life? Yes. Is Boston now my favorite band ever? Yes. It doesn't matter if the kids know every single band on the setlist; the music is still gonna be good and they're gonna love the game.

Besides, who's the one buying the game; the adults or the kids? If the parents see that Jimi Hendrix, Queen, David Bowie, etc, the music that they grew up to as kids, is on a game directed at their kids, chances are they're gonna buy it for them.

And it isn't like the whole game is chock full of classic rock. It's apparent that the setlist is spread out across all the musical genres to give kids a good handful of different types of music.

1. kids end up hearing what ever their parents have on in the car the most and so we need to find out what's their parents favorite music.

2. The average age of the parents is 28 when they have their first kid. I choose 18 because seeing how your not going to go through a big music style change past 18 at least I don't think so.

3. The parents were 18 in 1984 for kids who are 13
The parents who were 18 in 1989 kids are around 8

4. The stations that cover those years are Classic Rock stations.

5. Kids like Classic rock.

I say that classic rock will work:

I kinda agree I mean the other day my sister (10) asked me if I could bring my xbox and rock band down to the living room so her and her friends could play (ages 9-11). I'm pretty sure the setlist was Alice Copper Poison (five times), both 30 Seconds to Mars songs, Bon Jovi, Jackson 5, Kaiser Chiefs, Don't Stop Believing, Mr. Brightside etc.

Point is a lot of kids like the classic rock songs that are always played on the radio and the current pop-rock that is currently played. I think HMX know they need a balance between what kids will love and what would alienate the existing fanbase.

If I had to guess on the rest of the setlist I'd go with Paramore, The Killers, Taylor Swift (if she's not exclusive), and some other stuff I can't think of now

Then again I'm just hoping the setlist stays mostly good, there's enough stuff in there I dislike already :p

03) Blue Oyster Cult - Godzilla
04) Talking Heads - Burning Down The House
05) Spin Doctors - Two Princes
06) Alice In Chains - Them Bones (lots of Lego Skelletons!)

08) AC/DC - Long Way To The Top
09) 3 Doors Down - Not My Time
10) REM - Man On The Moon (or Bad Day...I could see a really funny Lego backstory for that one :) )
11) They Might Be Giants - Istanbul
12) Radiohead - Paranoid Android
13) Bowling For Soup - 1985 (lots of Lego-fied avatars of other artists!)
14) Barenaked Ladies - One Week
15) The Village people - YMCA
16) The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black
17) The White Stripes - Icky Stomp
18) B-52's - Rock Lobster

Seeing how everyone is doing these:

1. Godzilla- Blue Oyster Cult #3 of boc and also licensed to smash hits.
2. Love is battle field- Pat Benatar both games have gotten the other 2 we have, it's not a leap in logic they also got the 3rd what is on band hero
3. Time of the Season- The Zombies Zombie # 3
4. Danger High Voltage- Electric Six relatively tame could be the storm scenario. theoretical #4 3 for dlc 1 for disc
5. I want you to want me (live at budakan)- Cheap Trick on band hero, live because this is the superior version (universal opinion) No cheap trick in while and relatively tame.
6. Somebody told me- the killers showed up on dj, relatively tame, and both series have gotten the big hits
7. Whip it- Devo what the most family friendly hit missing I wonder. Also band hero
8. Superstition- Stevie wonder gh:5 and lego quality because this song is always in movie trailers what is where a kid might hear it.
9. Falling down- Atreyu on the E rated GH:OT MH and on the same label as queen and breaking Benjamin
10. Beverly Hills- Weezer We saw more weezer in the summer simmilar to out foo fighters situation and this one is pretty kid friendly
11. The impression I get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones Band hero and a hmx employee manages them
12. Do it again- Steely Dan The most family friendly and biggest hit was missing, it's not a leap in logic to guess it's here.
13. Use Somebody- Kings of Leon Family friendly the theoretical #4
14. Somebody to love- Jefferson Airplane I doubt hmx got only 1 song and the more friendly of the 2 was missing
15. American Pie- Don Mclean Band hero
16. Here's to the night- Eve 6 Not a leap in logic that they got another song and more kid friendly then inside out.
17. Sugar, We're Going Down- Fall out boy band hero
18. Ocean Avenue- Yellow card Band hero
19. When I'm Gone- 3 doors down It's not a leap in logic to guess that both games got this song since both games got kryptonite.

Pantera? (OK, I really doubt it, but it would be awesome)Death Rattle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmcqcVq9DJg) was in the spongebob episode pre hibernation week. That seems kid friendly to me. Lyrics (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/p/pantera/death+rattle_20104443.html) are fine too. Megadeth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYcg6LWad4c) is good too.

so what is everyone's guesses at the rest of the set-list then, that leaves 19 tracks to be revealed. (also I'm still a stick in the mud with the ZZTop/AC/DC thing cause I want both :P)

1) Squeezebox -The Who (Can't have an RB game without them)
2) Hush - Deep Purple (rounding out the 3 pack)
3) 7 Screaming Diz-Busters - Blue Oyster Cult (rounding out the 3 pack)
4) Bungle in the Jungle - Jethro Tull (rounding out the 3-pack)
5) Time of the Season - The Zombies (rounding out the 3-pack)
6) Cold as Ice - Foreigner (Foriegner is just too kid-friendly to not have in this)
7) Cheap Sunglasses - ZZTop (Assuming the rumor is true)
8) It's a Long Way to the Top (if You Want to Rock n' Roll) - AC/DC (assuming the rumor is true)
9) Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol (despite the undertones it's very kid friendly)
10) Surrender - Cheap Trick (surprised Trick hasn't returned yet)
11) Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company (see above)
12) Fly By Night - Rush (can't have a proper RB game without Rush)
13) Rock n' Roll Highschool - The Ramones (cracked file)
14) Rock the Casbah - The Clash (come on you know you want it)
15) Strutter - Kiss (rounding out 3 Kiss master tracks)

Do you really think Squeezebox will be in the game considering its suggestiveness?

Also, to the guy who suggested "Party Hard", that would be extremely epic.

To all the folks, suggesting stuff like Taylor Swift and Hilary Duff...

What the hell is wrong with you? seriously

Look at the set-list so far, anything there leading you to think they'd be there? the 40 year old J5 track? or P!nk the pop star who desperately tries to pretend to be punk?

Look at the rest of the set-list, it's a good spread of popular rock songs, and commercial anthems.

This isn't Rock Band Pop, it's Lego Rock Band, it's Rock Band with Lego avi's, and remember some kids actually do have some taste contrary to what the disney channel leads you to believe. Would you like HMX to sign off on the use of their name to participate in the general musical castration that would involve pushing the Jonas Brothers on impressionable kids?

This isn't Rock Band's answer to Band Hero, though they are aimed at vaguely the same audience. It's Rock Band reaching out to younger audiences, and I'd honestly prefer they didn't stoop to Band Hero's level of pandering.

An accordion is suggestive?

Pete: "Intended as a poorly aimed dirty joke. I had bought myself an accordion and learned to play it one afternoon. The polka-esque rhythm I managed to produce from it brought forth this song. Amazingly recorded by The Who to my disbelief. Further incredulity was caused when it became a hit for us in the USA."

You might move the accordion in and out to play it, but that's not what the song is talking about, I assure you.

I'd say there's only a handful of songs that are reasonable to expect here. I don't think the picks are going to be obvious modern pop rock, as I don't hear many kids singing T-Rex. I think all we can really do is consider songs we know HMX has sitting around. I'd consider...

The Cure - Just Like Heaven
Grateful Dead - Touch of Grey
Green Day - American Idiot
The Pixies - Where Is My Mind
REM - What's the Frequency, Kenneth?
Talking Heads - Burning Down the House
Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Gold Lion

And likely some others. Those are just the ones that have been on reliable leaks (and one that I think is pretty obvious by its omission in that artist's pack) that are most well-known and family friendly.

And though I know I just sort of contributed to it - but this isn't a wishlist thread. This is for discussion about rumors and facts about Lego: Rock Band. Not the Ultimate Setlist forum. The songs I posted are just ones that have been lingering for a while that would fit in really well on the Lego game, as some long-rumored songs have turned up on it so far.

Will the Wii version have online play or DLC?

The reason I ask is because I've checked the GameStop website, and I noticed on the boxart that the Wi-Fi Connection logo is missing and it doesn't mention anything about online at all.

Just to let everyone know, the Best Buy preorder for LEGO: Rock Band is now available in stores, and it comes with a different preorder bonus keychain than the Gamestop keychain! Here is a pic I took of mine:

http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/1724/dscf5782.jpg

Again, unlike Gamestop, this keychain is immediately available in the preorder box at Best Buy, not packaged with the game at release. So those of you interested in getting a keychain now, go forth to Best Buy.

EDIT: The Lego brick he is standing on isn't included, I just needed something for the fig to stand on while I took the pic.

EDIT 2: Toys R' Us Online is actually selling the keychain by itself (weird) if you want to see another picture of it.

YES. YES. NEED THE CURE.

Yes, we do need The Cure. However, considering the tone of the song, I'd say that this would be better as DLC for the main games, and have Friday I'm in Love in this game instead.

Awesome! Did they just have the one minifig, or multiple choices? Looks like he has the same head/face as the Gamestop display version. Maybe that is Lego's "rocker" face:D

I saw it today when I went to Best Buy to play DJ Hero (which is really good by the way). The little lego figurine is kidda cool but it seems kind of pointless since you can make your own character. They should have had lego figurines of some of the default game characters instead of a generic character.

They actually have a picture of the minifig on the preorder box packaging, so I'm guessing just the one. I didn't look at every box to see if any had a different picture, but I'm guessing this is the only one at Best Buy.
