i like cowboys from hell and vulgar display of power alot on panteras side, but after that, not so much because anselmos vocals just become unbearable for me in their later albums compared to the listenable aggression that can be heard from cowboys and vulgar.

priest however, is on a whole other level in my mind. might just be my favorite metal band ever. great albums like british steel, screaming for vengeance, defenders of the faith, painkiiller, etc. and halford is one of my favorite singers and the best metal has to offer i think. so had there been a poll, id vote priest here.

Intelligent songwriting, only a couple missteps, a long career. The Priest had it all!

This is an apples vs. oranges style poll. They're on opposite ends of the metal spectrum. I went with Priest, though. I like Pantera's riffs & solo's more, but Rob Halford's voice is much better than Anselmo's rage imo.
