I wish there were a lot more people like you Rokkstar. I for one love green day. I wish people would not say **** about what we listen to all the time because we can listen to whatever we want to. We dont go around telling people not to listen to this kind of music or that kind of music.
But anyways. I have the bullet in a bible album and the dvd rocks.
Green day albums i would like for download
Dookie
Nimrod
American Idiot
There next album for 2008
Im thinking if they would release green day stuff they might do there next album because it comes out the middle of next year and they could put it out on rock band the day its released

I dunno about the 2008 album...not because I'm ripping the new stuff (American idiot is my favorite GD album, though I own every one since 1,039 Smoothed Out/Slappy Hours and including Shenangians) but Billie Joe claims that theres a lot of piano stuff in it...don't know how it would translate.
American Idiot and Dookie are prime candidates though. Jesus of Suburbia would be epic.

Yeah that kinda worried me when he said that about playing the piano. I was like what the hell billie joe i like when you rip it up on the guitar. He doesnt always go crazy on the guitar but he is good. Well they said they have 45 songs. Maybe most of them will be guitar. I cant wait to hear what there new album will sound like. Its a follow up to American Idiot which is kool. They hit the studio in January!
Jesus Of Suburbia would be awesomely amazing to play. If harmonix would ever announce that song and Welcome To Paradise, I would love them for the rest of my life.
DOOKIE FOR ALBUM DOWNLOAD!

45 songs just means that they've written that many, they're not gonna release some White-albumesque 3 or 4 CD bonanza...expect the normal 12-18 from Green Day.
I do agree, while the piano is nice and Jason White is a good enough guitarist...I'd much rather see Billie Joe fronting on the guitar.

No never would an artist release 45 songs, never, not that I know of. Like Fall Out Boy wrote 120 songs for Infinity on High (2007)'s release they only released 17 songs (3 downloadables). The others weren't scrapped, just put off for the next year's release of their Folk Music CD, which will be disappointing.
But anyway, Green Day, back on topic, will probably release a 10-20 song CD like usual, they might offer another DVD eventually, featuring their greatest songs and that would be awesome, can't wait to see.
Anyway not 45 songs to one album. Maybe just 15 max.

I didnt say that clear enough lol. But yeah they have 45 songs they have written but will pick the best ones and probably save the others for another album. Green day has sorta changed it up a bit through the past 4 years. I think they will bring out like a new sound in them. I wouldnt really like a lot of piano because i love there guitar riffs.
I recorded there storytellers performance on tv a long time ago and Jason White and Bille Joe really worked well together. There sound just came together so well and it blended well. Mike Dirnt, Tre Cool, Bille Joe, and Jason White can all sing good. Especially in Jesus Of Suburbia they work real well together.

Patrick Stump[h] announced that Billie Joe Armstrong didn't want to play 'four-chord punk songs for the rest of his life' quote/unquote, and that if they were to release another album it would be a new sound.
Patrick Stump[h] decided the same way about it as well so they're releasing a folk album next year.
As for Green Day, nothing is certain at this point.
P.S. Storytellers was in a dark concert room, and they would talk about the Concert etc, during it? Because if that's so my brother has that recorded as well.

Man, I loved the view in Milton Keynes.
Oh well, 2 and a half years later and here I am.
If they do any song for DLC from BIAB, it'll be Basket Case or Longview.

I have a T-shirt which I bought from the stands. On the back, it says "American Idiot - Saturday, 18th June 2005, Sunday 19th June 2005, Milton Keynes National Bowl"
And yeah, I own the DVD. It reminds me of what a great day that was =)

IDK if anyone has explained to this dude where they got the name from cuz im not reading all these posts to find out.
They got the name Bullet in a Bible from a story of a soldier in Iraq. This solders squad was in a fire fight and he was shot in the chest and survived due to the fact that the bullet went through his kevlar vest and was stopped by a bible he had on him.

I'd say that's probably true. I for one would love to see Kerplunk, but if not, then anything from Dookie, Insomniac, and Nimrod would be great. :)

I agree with you bro. Those are great, but still if there was the opportunity I will still get American Idiot if possible.

Almost every single song on that album is awesome, but it is still missing one of my favorites from Nimrod... Welcome To Paradise - that song would be hardcore on the drums. In fact, most of those songs would be hardcore on the drums. Go Green Day!

the one song i think would be amazing off of bullet in a bible would be king for a day/shout. Crowd reactions would have to be in this song because it's all about going back and forth between the crowd.

yes pretty much one of the climax songs of the DVD.

That's one thing I love about RB; the crowd really gets into your performance. :)
