New skit based around faux band in rockband

Hi everyone, this is a skit a buddy of mine and I did for a class. It's actually only a pilot we are using to test some concepts, so dialogue/quality is bound to change if there are enough responses to warrant working on this any further.

Just looking for some comments and what not, and yes we know that we aren't using all rockband instruments, again, that is something we'll most likely change if there is enough interest to warrant actually pursuing this kind of project.

So, if you could spare some time and watch this short (under 4 minutes) pilot for our mockumentary concept: The Band.

Remember, this is a pilot/rough cut, we are mainly posting this to see if there would be any interest in such a project if we actually put some time and a budget into it. Thanks for your comments :D

Pretty humorous I must say. There was just one thing bugging me about the whole thing. The bassist said he's been with his guitar since Rock Band 1, yet GHWT didn't come out til 11 months later.

I don't have a problem with cussing, I do it plenty myself. But it seemed a bit excessive and totally unnecessary for this video.

It's a college course, and we're aiming for a college "fratboy" type of thing with the language. Sorry if it offends you though, that's not the intention.

It doesn't offend me, like I said, I cuss all the time. It just seemed excessive for the purposes of that video.

I'm a little late to the party, but I'll comment anyway :p
I've seen this done before, but I think this has been the best script so far. The silent drummer was hilarious, the bassist licking his instrument, the over-excited roadie... you've nailed all the stereotypes in a fantastically hilarious way. Replace the GH:WT guitar with the RB1 strat (wired if you have one) to make it a little more authentic though. I'm interested to see any new episodes you guys come up with.

I agree. I hear cussing all the time at work, so it doesn't really offend me, but I still don't like it that much. BLEEPs, on the other hand, are freakin' hilarious in something like this. It would also probably go over better with your prof, unless he's a really cool guy about that stuff

We've already shown it :3. The class and teacher liked it a lot so we thought we'd try and get more opinions on it via interweb. I've already gone through and made a copy with the curse words bleeped out, i'll upload it here in a bit.
