Actualy I agree. Even though some tracks are right up my alley (The Metal, School's Out, Paint it Black, and Welcome to the Jungle for starters) the gameplay seems to have been broken somehow.

It took many years for Harmonix to perfect their code and formula. It's a technical marvel as much as design and Neversoft just isn't there. They're hard working but they don't have that background or resources.

Still I may pick it up next year sometime but this year it's all about Rock Band baby!!!

It was live coverage on gamespot. I could barely hear it..........they made no mention of it being new so i dont know.

Knights oif Cydonia looked pretty tough.........which was also played

The note charts look fun, but the game looks actually boring next to Rock Band

I like Muse, I hope they are in Rock Band also. I agree with you Sushi, there is just something about Rock Band, I think it has to do with it being four players that just makes it more exciting and really just makes Guitar Hero seem like nothing special.

I still really want GH and will buy it and am looking forward to it, but I'm so much more focused on Rock Band right now, I don't feel at all concerned with how Guitar Hero is. Although I really want to play Even Flow.

Did anyone else notice how the GH3 spokesman (forgot his name) seemed hesitant when answering the questions regarding DLC? or was that just me?

i dont know if i even wanna buy guitar hero 3 with rock band comeing out i wont have cash left. the only reason is if it has a killer track list and is way cheaper then the currently criminal DLC prices.

GH3 is really good. Rock Band is good too. They're both hard to split but i like Rock Band moar i think. Just because I don't have to put up with that terrible song Kool Thing. but then again there is that Fall Out Boy song on Rock Band..... They're equal. But If you want drums ROCK BAND.
