Guitar Problems

As of yesterday, my whammy bar spring either broke or popped out and for some reason my guitar adds an extra strum randomly, causing me to break Overdrive chains and sometimes it recognizes enough non added strums to fail me in solos. Anything to be done?

Send it to EA for a replacement guitar. Mine did the exact same thing. Just go to the website provided on the pink piece of paper that came with the bundle.
