I understand the lyric changes in the game because some people are cursed with children but for those of us that aren't cursed or don't care, can we have DLC songs with the original (explicit/uncensored/non-radio) lyrics. I really would like to have the choice (and really want Closer to God in future content).

Or am I being nit-picky?

Like the title says, just a thought.

This is something I've been wondering, too. Since the DLC isn't part of the retail game, do they still have to dumb it down for a "T" rating? Removing the censoring could potentially open up a lot more possibilities for songs.

I'm pretty sure Rigopolous said in some interview that it would be possible to have naughty words in the DLC, because it's not subject to the ratings that games are, and at that point it'd be buyer beware, I guess.

I don't understand the censoring of lyrics in this game. For all the swearing that is in video games these days, what harm is the occasional curse? It's not like we're playing Gangster Rap Hero.

Any swearing in songs can't be half as bad as what my son hears when I see "You lost 12,000 fans" or "Song failed 99% complete" pop up on the screen.

Here's another argument. DLC funds through Credit Cards (at least how I understand it on PSN, don't know XBL's system) and CCs are usually the domain of adults (note the word usually, I understand there are exceptions and work-arounds). That check along with parental controls should theoretically keep kids from purchasing content the parents don't wish for them to see/hear.

Correct me if I'm missing something in my logic (I usually am missing something).
