Hello all.
I know this has been posted before but I think this needs to be revisited.
There's a small spring I the guitar that causes the whammy bar to "recoil". I took out all the screws in the back. All it took was a small Phillips head. Without much difficulty I was able to see where the spring is or should be. Its a very small flimsy spring. :confused:
I contacted EA for support. All I wanted was a replacement spring. That's not too much to ask I think. I know I'm not the only one that has had this problem. EA customer support isn't any help. All they wanted to do is replace the whole guitar. I didn't keep my receipt. I didn't know the RB controllers were made with such easy to break parts. I not even that rough with my guitar. :mad:
I am going to try and find a suitable replacement spring in a hardware store. As soon as I find a viable replacement I'll post the info on the forum. If someone out there knows what to use other than a rubber band I would like to know.
