View Full Version : Can't get DLC?

Hey folks. I think I know the answer to this, but I'll shoot anyways.

I checked for DLC for RB earlier today, and see nothing. Now, my immediate though: it's because I'm in Canada (live in a border city) and it's not technically out here yet. Is that in fact the reason why?

It's not a huge deal, as I've had it for a few days now and have only played about 2/3 of the songs (between solo and World Tour mode with others), so I still have a lot to experience. It was just a bit befuddling to not see anything there when I've read what's supposed to be available so far.

Anyways, thanks for any help you can give!

Yup that's why.

It's only up for the PS3 in Canada but they also added $1 to the price.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Alrighty, I figured that was the reason. Stinks that the PS3 owners have to pay an extra $1 though. Oh well.

You do realize that 360 owners will pay $1 more also when the game releases and songs are made available on the Canadian XBL Marketplace, right?

So when will we be able to get the DLC up here?

Make a US account and you can download content from the US store. Lots of people do that. Just takes a US address (doesn't matter where, just use something off the web). I think it takes a US credit card, though, which could possibly be a problem.

No we won't. It'll be 160 points just like in the US. It's still more expensive but the tax and exchanges come up front when points are bought. 160 points = $2.56 Canadian and $2.99 + 14% tax = $3.40. Since I put Superman Returns (came free with Mass Effect) towards the points I got them for $13 cheaper.

Just create a valid xbox live us account and then buy the microsoft points over ebay (23CA$ for 1600 points and 54CA$ for 4000 points)... then the guy will send you the code in your mail address in the next 5-8 minutes and then you can download all the DLC you want.

Then, you can play with all your xbox live accounts on that console. You dont need to play with your us account.

Thanks for the workaround solutions, but I can wait. I'd be willing to wait even longer if my drums weren't crapping out on me, but oh well.
