Please put these guys in. They are one of the most insturmentaly talented bands ever and would be a real challenge to play. Songs like learning to live and The Dark Eternal Night would be extremely fun to play.

Ok, Green Grass and High Tides makes me queese at the long instrumentals, Dream Theater would kill vocalists like me.

What is the singer supposed to do the whole time while you're playing some ridiculous DT song?

Dream theater does have some songs where the vocalist sings for a good ammount of time. Voices and in the name of god come to mind.

There are a lot of Dream Theater songs where the singer frequents almost the entire track.
Examples:

Honor Thy Father
In the Name of God
The Spirit Carries On
Beyond This Life
Panic Attack
Never Enough
These Walls
Blind Faith
The Test that Stumped them All
As I Am
6:00
Lie
Pull Me Under
Another Day
Take the Time
Learning to Live (Ok so not a ton of vocals, but this song is amazing)
Peruvian skies
Trial of Tears
Forsaken
Constant Motion
The Dark Eternal Night
Prophets of war

I really want to see Dream Theater in Rock Band, although the one major problem I see with getting them in is the lack of a keyboard peripheral. I doubt Jordan Rudess would be happy with being downplayed by not really being a part of the game. I want them in the game but I see this as the one major hitch. Most people play this game for the instruments and not necisarrily the vocals so I don't see instrumental sections as being that large of a hang up. If you're listening/reading Harmonix please contact RoadRunner Records or Mike Portnoy (the drummer) to see if this is at all possible. I know about five friends who own Rock Band and they would buy anything you put out that was done by Dream Theater.
