View Full Version : This Is How I Fixed My Bass Pedal

I work in a sheet metal shop so....I used a peace of 16 GA metal and made a pattern of the foot plate. then I bent a 3/8 lip on both sides. Then I rivet the metal over the plastic foot plate to make it stronger. And add some felt pads to the bottom of the foot plate. It helps out a lot

And this is something that I did to the drumheads to make them fill a little more like real drums. Take some mousepads and cut them to fit your drumheads. It is a little bit quieter as well. Here are some pic'shttp://img520.imageshack.us/img520/5807/15145054dn3.jpg

Adding the metal to the bass pedal made it feel a lot nicer to.

You are right. You would think EA would have done some R&D:mad: But maybe not.

im sure the design we got was for cost saving measures, although you gotta wonder with all the warranty replacements if it really was economical...

I did the mousepad thing and I had a shop make me a plate like the one on your bass pedal.
