Question about Downloadable Content

I am having problems with some of the songs that I downloaded, mainly the first weeks release. My Xbox had a hardware failure, so I was borrowing my cousin's and that is the system that I downloaded the songs with. When I received mine back, I could no longer play the songs that I had downloaded unless I was connected to XBox Live. They are stored on my hard drive and I was just using the actual console to play, but all of the downloads were on my hard drive and still are. Is there a way to access the songs or to refresh them so they will show up in the downloaded tracks section without having to be online?

Please someone help because it is really starting to irritate me.

you need to call xbox customer service and tell them the problem. they should refund you the points for the songs in question so you can redownload them to your machine.

the problem applies to all DLC and is such that you can only use the DLC offline on the console it was purchased with. this is to prevent folks from just logging in to all their friends' consoles and downloading DLC they've purchased so that all their friends have completely free and unrestricted access to it. so they force you to actually be signed into xbox live to use the content on any subsequent machines.

they make acceptions for people whose xboxes have undergone repair and messed up the ability to play their DLC offline, so give them a call and they should fix it for you.

so if i gave my friend money to download the police pack for this thing in school on friday, i could not then just take this from his xbox to mine when i get mine?
