what exactly does the update do?

Whenever I try to rock out on my 360 it asks to update. I don't want to say yes until I find out what it does.

Everything seems to work fine but I'm not sure on the parts where its lots of strumming in a row. I'll miss one here and there. I can't tell if its me sucking or the mushy strum bar not recognizing.

Any one know any thing about either of these issues?

The update is for the 360 dashboard.. not Rock Band.

I already updated the dashboard.

This update I'm talking about says its for the game.

He means the patch for the game that was available on launch day. Just do it.

I think it was supposed to fix some guitar issues, double strumming and such, but didn't really work out because most of the problems were hardware related and not the software
