Where's my band and characters?

So my PS3 died a few months back and Sony replaced it instead of fixing it....basically, factory reset hard drive. So I finally got around to reinstalling RB2 and everything is gone....isn't all that info saved on the RB servers?

Sorry to say, no, unfortunately it's not. It's saved in your RB save file. And is not transferrable between PS3's. At least with the tools we have at our disposal.

I have the same problem, dead PS3 replaced with a new one and old bands and characters are gone. But, I found out that I can take a new photograph of band characters, so the information for them must be on the RockBand servers somewhere. How do I get my band and characters back?

See my post above, the data is not recoverable. You'll have to start over again with new characters and band(s)
