Im flying from California to Wisconson for christmas for two weeks and plan to drag the rock band with me. I can pack up the ps3, guitars, and mic ok, but Im not sure about the drums.

Anyone have an idea on how to pack up the drums for airplane travel? I will have to put them in checked luggage.

thanks

If you preserved your box, just throw it all in there (if you can figure a way to take the stupid head stock off your guitar!). You will have to check it, the pads alone will probably max out your overhead space. I've flown many a time and pretty much just take a backpack on the plane, and check the other ****.

and place everything in ther, it should fit... it would fit in mine.

1) Where in WI?

2) Get a big duffel, wrag the thing in a few beach towels and you should be good to go. Or use the original box it came in (the smaller brown box that housed the drums).

You could also ship it ahead (FedEx, UPS) if you don't want to deal with lugging it onto the plane with you.
