I just finished setting up my home theater set up and fired up Rock Band 2 when I noticed no bass coming from my sub. My set up is the following; HDMI cable from my TV to my receiver then HDMI cables from my receiver to my components including Xbox 360 and cable box. My cable TV sounds great, I can hear the thumping but I don't from my games on the 360. Could someone help me figure out my problem? Do I need to run an optical cable from my 360 to my receiver as well? Is it a setting on my receiver I haven't figured out? I hear everything but the bass sounds from my sub. Thanks in advance.
