PS3 "Players Met" list not registering Rock Band players

I'm not sure if this is a problem with Rock Band or Playstation so if this doesn't apply I'm sorry. But here's my problem anyway. I have a PS3 and the users I play Rock Band with online don't show up on my "Players Met" list. If I want to add them I have to quickly scribble down their name then manually add them once I quit the game. It would be easier to keep in touch with people if they appeared on that list. Again, sorry if this doesn't apply to you guys.

bump also - it's hard for me to remember names like "freak3246pmg4", so it would be nice to be able to add people more easily.

I believe this is a well known issue, but I'll put my own bump in here, since I think it's something really basic that Harmonix should have had working out of the gate.
